So last weekend 
we drove out to Hubbards for Tanya's Run for the Cure Family Fun Picnic. What a great spot to have it - lots of field, a playground, access to the Hall for bathroom (no port-a-potties, yeah!). There weren't a lot of people there, but everyone who came out had a fabulous time playing games, face painting, bidding on auction items, and eating hotdogs, burgers, sausages and of course, the special summer staple, cotton candy!

ather couldn't have been better, as the sun was shining and the breeze was strong enough to keep most of the bugs off. However, one poor little ladybug got her legs tangled up in Cadence's cotton candy, and once we got her unstuck she decided to hang out with the bucket and shovel for a bit.

o settings on my camera to pretty good effect. I've never really thought about ladybugs as a photo subject because they are so small, but this opportunity really changed my mind about that. I love how you can even see the tiny little feet on Miss LadyBug, as she ambles down the shovel.
